What battery charger should I use for the Power Queen 12V 100Ah Mini Deep Cycle Lithium Battery?
We recommend using a 14.6V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to achieve maximum capacity.
1. Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V ~ 14.6V
2. Recommended Charging Current:
①20A (0.2C): The battery will reach 100% capacity in approximately 5 hours.
②50A (0.5C): The battery will reach around 97% capacity in approximately 2 hours.
Attention:
1. Connect the charger to the battery before plugging it into the power supply to prevent sparks.
2. Disconnect the charger from the battery once it is fully charged.
Can I use an alternator or generator to charge the LiFePO4 lithium battery?
Yes, you can charge Power Queen batteries using an alternator or generator. If your alternator or generator provides DC output, you'll need a DC-to-DC charger to connect the battery. If it supports AC output, you can use a 14.6V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to achieve maximum capacity.
Can I use Power Queen LiFePO4 lithium batteries as starting batteries?
No, Power Queen LiFePO4 lithium batteries are designed solely for energy storage and are not intended for starting devices. Please refrain from using them for this purpose.
Can I charge Power Queen LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?
No, The Power Queen 12V 100Ah Mini Deep Cycle Lithium Batteries can charge securely from 0℃ to 50℃ (32℉ to 122℉). It should be noted that this 12V 100Ah mini version does not include a low-temperature charging protection function.
