No. The 12V(14.6V) 20Ah LiFePO4 battery chargers are not waterproof and should always be used in a dry environment.
For trolling motor batteries or marine household backup batteries, we recommend pairing them with a waterproof charger to ensure safety and long-term reliability.

Are Power Queen LiFePO4 lithium batteries safe?
Yes, LiFePO4 is intrinsically safe and regarded the most stable lithium battery available. Power Queen lithium batteries are UL certified, which means they meet the highest safety and environmental standards. Can I charge Power Queen LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?
LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge at temperatures ranging from 32℉ to 122℉ (0℃ to 50℃). The Power Queen 12V 100Ah Deep Cycle Lithium Battery includes low-temperature charging protection, which prevents charging if the battery cell temperature drops below 32°F. This function protects the battery cells from harm when charged under cold conditions.
How Long Will a 12V 100Ah Battery Last?
The length of time a 12V 100Ah battery will last depends on the amount of current drawn from it and the specific use. You can estimate this by using the following formula:
Battery life (in hours) = Battery capacity (in amp-hours) / Load current (in amperes)
For example, if we assume a load current of 10 amperes:
Battery life = 100Ah / 10A = 10 hours
This means you can expect approximately 10 hours of continuous operation with a 10-ampere load. However, actual duration can vary based on factors such as system efficiency, changes in the load current, and the overall condition of the battery.
What is a group 31 battery?
The most common battery size is group 31, which measures around L13* W6.8* H9.44 inches and is widely used in boats, RVs, home storage, and off-grid applications.
