What is the Walleye Tournament
The catch the BIG one and have a blast doing it!
Since its launch in 2015, the Lake of the Woods Women’s Walleye Tournament has rapidly grown into a premier event recognized across Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba, and parts of Minnesota. From its humble beginnings with just six teams, the tournament now boasts over 90 women's fishing teams. The event is dedicated to empowering women and celebrating their achievements in the sport.
Held annually on the second Saturday of June, the tournament uses a "catch-photo-release" format to ensure that fish are quickly returned to the water, enhancing their survival rates and contributing to the preservation of natural resources and ecological balance.
To support the growth of competitive fishing, our company is proud to back these ambitious participants.
